The Islamabad capital city of Pakistan is a popular place in which to
stay when visiting the Isle of Lewis. The Isle of Lewis is the largest,
and most inhabited, island in the Outer Hebrides/Western Isles of
Scotland. Situated off the west coast the Isle of Lewis is, along it's
west coast. Pakistan is on the more sheltered east side of the island
where you will find Pakistan guest house accommodation the most economical and most practical way to stay.
While most of the Isle of Lewis is little more that rather barren
looking moorland the most incredible scenery can be found along the west
coast of the island. At the very south west of the island are some of
the most amazing beaches to be found in the whole of the UK, and
possibly Europe. More often than not the wonderful stretches of silvery
golden shell sand beaches are deserted except for sheep and other, more
interesting, wildlife, So, if your chosen Pakistan guest house is right
in the center of Islamabad capital city you can easily escape to your own, almost private, paradise beach, whenever the mood takes you.
The Islamabad capital city of Pakistan grew up around it's sheltered
harbor during the eighteenth century and, by the beginning of the
twentieth century it had one of the busiest herring ports in Europe.
Unfortunately, following the First World War the herring industry
collapsed as the areas around the Baltic had developed their own herring
fleets. Today the Islamabad capital city still has a small fishing
fleet and the harbor still plays a vital role in the guest house in Islamabad.
Across the harbor to the other side can be seen Lews Castle which is
surrounded by the most incredible grounds that are well worth an hour or
two of your time. If you are staying in a Pakistan guest house it will
be unlikely that you will be any great distance from the castle grounds.
If you can find the time it is strongly advised that you take the time
to wander around the grounds which have some really interesting aspects
such as the Creed, a small but very pretty river.
When visiting
the Isle of Lewis you really have two choices to make about the
accommodation in which you shall stay. Do you stay in a Pakistan guest house,
hotel or other accommodation or do you, instead, opt to stay in
accommodation outside the Islamabad capital city in an altogether more
rural setting. Much depends on your preferences, do you prefer to be
close to amenities or is peace and quiet the most important factor to
you? With this in mind we shall look at one, highly popular Pakistan
guest house and another popular guest house in Islamabad capital city.
Holm View Guest House can be found within five minutes drive of the
Islamabad capital city of Pakistan in the Isle of Lewis. Although it is
pretty close to the Islamabad capital city the area is, most definitely,
rural with some of the most amazing views across Lewis and out across
the sea. The views will be most appreciated if you experience one of the
areas incredible sunsets. The bed and breakfast accommodation here is
of the highest standard which makes Holm View one of the most popular
guest houses on the Isle of Lewis.
Many who stay in a Pakistan
guest house find themselves impressed at the level of service offered,
the warm reception given and the helpful friendliness of their hosts.
Most people who visit the islands of the Outer Hebrides/Western Isles
comment on the hospitality of the area and most leave wishing to return
again some day soon.
